FOUNDER / LEAD DESIGNER
Hi, my name is Anaïs, I am an entrepreneur originally from Quebec City; Founder of Nis Interiors, as well as the Founder and CEO of Atlantic Cirque Ltd, school of circus arts established in 2002, located in beautiful Nova Scotia.
During my career as a circus artist, I have performed hundreds of shows and taught many students in 3 circus schools I have opened over the years in Quebec, New-Brunswick and Nova Scotia. I have always had a strong artistic side, both on stage and at home. Reinventing the space I live in has always been something I've done. When my husband and I bought our last house, it was my chance to fulfilled my dream of being involved in every step of creating a beautiful home for our family. Taking on this renovation was an opportunity for me to see if I should turn this passion into a new business. Needless to say, I loved every step of the project and quickly signed up for the Interior Designer course at the Vancouver Interior Design Institute. Since graduating from the program with an additional certification in Home Staging & Property Styling, I am living my passion of creating beautiful spaces with every new client, every new project as I continue to oversee the daily operations of Atlantic Cirque while balancing motherhood and entrepreneurship. Oh yes, before I forget... Nis was my nickname in high school. |
INTERN / ASSITANT DESIGNER
Hi, I'm Lily! I am an Interior Decorator Graduate from the Maritime Business College.
My love for transforming spaces into beautiful and functional areas is what got me into interior decorating. I have always been fascinated by how a well-designed space can influence a person's mood and behavior. As a child, I would often rearrange the furniture in my room and play around with different color schemes. As I grew older, I became more interested in the technical aspects of interior design, such as space planning, lighting, and materials. Studying at maritime business college made me be able to achieve this as a career. I am excited to be joining NIS Interiors for my internship and I look forward to working with all of you on a variety of design projects! |
